Join Guest Instructor, Bethany Kingsley-Garner for this beautiful variation from The Seasons, part of the Cinderella ballet. This class will focus on the beautiful and free choreography of the season, Summer.

In this part of the ballet, the four seasons are summoned by Cinderella's Fairy Godmother. Each season presents Cinderella with their season's gift.

This is an all-levels class, everyone is welcome.

Bethany is a former Principal dancer with the Scottish ballet. Originally from Devon, she graduated from the Royal Ballet, is a BBC Young Dancer mentor and Outstanding Classical Performance nominee.

Join Guest Instructor, Patricia Zhou for a 90 minute classical ballet class. This is an all levels class. Everyone is welcome.

Patricia Zhou is a freelance dancer, choreographer and award-winning filmmaker. She has previously danced for the Royal Ballet in London, Staatsballett-Berlin and Benjamin Millepied’s L.A. Dance Project.

She holds numerous accolades including being awarded gold and silver medals at the 2010 Beijing International Invitational Ballet Competition and at the Youth American Grand Prix Competition in Paris, was a prize winner at the Prix de Lausanne and was also featured on ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars,”

She recently made her West End debut performing in “Dr. Semmelweis” and created the role of the “Sugar Plum Fairy” in the recent McOnie Company jazz remake of “The Nutcracker.”

Bethany Kingsley-Garner

Bethany Kingsley-Garner is a former Principal Dancer with the Scottish Ballet Company. She performed across the UK and around the world in theatres such as the prestigious Mariinsky Theatre and The Kennedy Centre in the USA, 

Born in Devon, Bethany trained at the Royal Ballet Schools from age 11 and graduated with Honours in 2007 after winning The Wyre Drawer Company Leavers Prize, The April Olrich Award for Most Dynamic Performer and First Commendation in Young Dancer of The Year. During this time she performed with The Royal Ballet Company in numerous performances including The Nutcracker and Swan Lake

Having joined Scottish Ballet in 2007, Bethany was promoted to Soloist and then Principal Dancer. In 2016 she was nominated by the Critics Circle for Outstanding Classical Performance. In addition to performing title roles, she is actively involved in Dance Education teaching and guest coaching at workshops and seminars.

She has recently been awarded certification for her teaching from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and was selected as a Champion of Scotland to inspire, motivate and encourage young people, along side being an Ambassador for Scotland. Bethany was a Ballet Mentor for the BBC Chanel 4 programme Young Dancer 2019, and most recently the creator of the Be Inspired Dance collection with Move Dance. 

Patricia Zhou is a freelance dancer, choreographer and award-winning filmmaker.

She has previously danced for the Royal Ballet in London, Staatsballett-Berlin and Benjamin Millepied’s L.A. Dance Project.

After only four years of serious ballet training at the Kirov Academy of Ballet in Washington D.C., she was awarded gold and silver medals at the 2010 Beijing International Invitational Ballet Competition and at the Youth American Grand Prix Competition in Paris, was a prize winner at the Prix de Lausanne and was also featured on ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars,” becoming the first and only solo performer to dance on the show.

In 2020 Patricia went freelance to pursue choreographing and directing her own work as well asdancing on a project to project basis.

She recently made her West End debut performing in “Dr. Semmelweis” and created the role of the “Sugar Plum Fairy” in the recent McOnie Company jazz remake of “The Nutcracker.”

R. Colby Damon was born and raised in Richmond,VA, USA and received his early dance training at Richmond Ballet, Boston Ballet, and Virginia School of the Arts.

Throughout his 12 year performing career, he danced professionally for Sacramento Ballet, The Metropolitan Opera Ballet, Mark Morris Dance Group, Northwest Dance Project, and BalletX among others.

As a choreographer, he has received commissions from Nashville Ballet, American Repertory Ballet, BalletX, Sacramento Ballet, Pennsylvania Ballet II, Nashville Ballet II, Ballet West Academy, Bryn Mawr College, and DeSales University among others, and his work has been performed at festivals in Brazil, Mexico, Bermuda, and New York City.

He additionally has extensive experience teaching dance to a wide array of ages and abilities, from professional company dancers, to pre-professional conservatory students, to public elementary school children, and aged populations.

He is currently working as a freelance choreographer and dance teacher throughout the USA and beyond.

Join the amazing Colby Damon for this 90 minute Barre & Centre masterclass. Test your body as well as your brain with Colby's fun choreography and beautiful phrase work.

Colby regularly joins Ballet Fusion as a guest instructor. This class was filmed via Zoom during lockdown.

Colby Damon teaches around the world having trained in the USA with Sacramento Ballet, Northwest Dance, Metropolitan Opera Ballet and BalletX to name a few. Renowned for his technical expertise and original choreography, his work has been performed on multiple national and international tours. In addition to his ballet training, Colby has also pursued extensive studies in yoga, qi gong, Chinese martial arts and meditation practices.
