Simple & Healthy Date & Walnut Bites Recipe

If you are in need of a little sweet fix either before or after your Ballet Fusion class, after lunch or perhaps dinner then these deliciously decadent date and walnut bites are sure to hit the spot. Refined sugar free and with only three natural ingredients they are easy to make and easier to eat.

The recipe calls for Medjool Dates and peanut butter but really any pitted date and any nut butter will suffice.

Walnuts contain polyunsaturated fatty acids which are much healthier than saturated fats found commonly in a lot of processed snacks like cakes, biscuits, pastries and chocolate so instead of reaching for a quick fix bar of chocolate to curb your sweet tooth cravings head to your larder and whip up one or more of these date and walnut bites.

Walnuts are also known to have anti-inflammatory effects, promote a healthy gut and are rich in antioxidants. Are you tempted to make these little bites yet?

This recipe requires no measuring and no fancy equipment. Just pit your date, dollop a teaspoon of nut butter inside and top with a walnut crown. Easy as putting your feet into first position!
